It would have been amazing topped with strawberries, but I failed to get some.

I purchased a few more new/old kitchen items and now the urge to see them up on a shelf on the right kitchen wall is even more pressing. We need a drill to get the shelf up there. We got the shelf and everything but no drill...yet. Sad.

Last week was a lazy one, I spent loads of time at home, downloaded a new series show, watched a couple of movies, read a bit. This weather gets me in no mood for anything. After five me and R have dinner with our window open, in the kitchen and it feels like we're outdoors, maybe go for a walk and then he surfs the internet while I read or blog. Nothing special but it works well.

The weekend was a busy one and went by so fast. We had R's mom visiting briefly so we had to move fast and try to do as many things as possible in this short amount of time. We went biking, the three of us all day Saturday, second hand thrifting, Palas, grocery shopping. Friday and Sunday, walks around the neighborhood. We cooked a thing or too, washed way too many dishes, had long coffee breaks in the afternoon. We slept at my sister's two nights and so we had late evening and early morning walks back and forth which were great because we haven't been enjoying the city that much since we moved. After she had taken off on Sunday afternoon we totally crashed and had the best afternoon sleep one could ever ask for. The heat this weekend made us extra tired.
