Just a quick one, and then back to work, I promise

Oatmeal, again of course, but it's always good, especially this one was. And I know it was like a late brunch, but who cares? Breakfast is good anytime of the day.

So, oatmeal. You heat a tiny pot on the stove, add a tablespoon or so of butter, let it melt and then add your oats. You stir for 2-3 minutes and then take a good whiff. It smells so good. Then you add some water and some milk, so that the liquids kind of cover the oats. Stir, lower the heat, put a lid on it.
Come back to it once every minute, stir, add some vanilla extract. Or cinnamon, whatever you desire. After five minutes of looking after it, it should be done. Transfer into bowl, add some milk, stir.
That's standard.
I next added sunflower seeds, chia seeds and hemp seeds. Then I added vanilla sauce I got from Lidl- I love that stuff, and then a handful of forest fruits.
It was the best breakfast I had in a long time.

I am totally in love with a new blog I discovered. I'm not going to share the name, at least not for now.
Today I totally skipped work. I was however more active and sat on my butt for a lot less time than other days. I stumbled across this, and it made me realize I'm not that active at all. You can take this test and calculate your sitting time per day.

I hate the weather right now, but it didn't stop me or bummed me out as I got out of the house to run some errands.aka pay a bill, go to the bank, visit a few thrift shops. I just can't wait for it to get warm and sunny so I can take me bike out. I will be sitting on my butt, but at least I'm going to be sitting outside.

p.s.
this link, and this good idea that I've never thought of but I would do

No recipe granola

I call it whatever you can find in your pantry granola. And it's just that.
I had chia seeds, hemp seeds, sunflower seeds, all of them as leftovers from a while back, in september when I made this recipe. The 'bread' was interesting and tasty, but you can't eat more than two slices once, because it fills you up, and so therefore I had trouble eating out of it everyday, and eventually got bored and had enough. But you should give it a try, definitely.

Back to the 'granola'. I added some oatmeal and some peanuts I had lying around, chopped, of course. And a pinch of salt. I melted a tiny bit of butter and added two tablespoons of honey. Pour the mixture over the seeds and all and mix. Pop it in the oven at about 160 C for about 20 - 30 minutes, I don't know.
I ate some with a spoonful of coconut milk and a drizzle of honey on top.
It wasn't amazing but it was good. :D
